The Group of Atomic and Molecular Physics (GEFAM) promotes different awards and prizes to fellow members of RSEF or RSEQ, mainly intended to support the career of early-stage researchers. During IBER 2022 we will be offering:

RSEF-GEFAM prizes to the three best Posters

The Royal Spanish Physics Society (RSEF) will give three awards to the best posters presented by a Ph.D. student, consisting in a Diploma and a free one-year membership to the RSEF, which includes the Journal “Revista de Física”, discounts for membership of the European Physics Society and other benefits.

ATTENDANCE GRANTS

Registration waivers may be granted to a certain number of Ph.D. students or postdocs, depending on the number of attending people. Please apply to  gefam@rseq.org before September 10, 2022, including a CV. Priority will be given to low-income countries or justified cases.

DELGADO-BARRIO AWARD

To a young researcher in Atomic and Molecular Physics or Chemistry (younger than 35 years old) working in a Portuguese or Spanish research center, and participant at the Conference. This prize is sponsored by the Delgado-Barrio family and will be presented at the IBER 2022 Gala dinner.

The award consists of a Diploma and a monetary prize (2000 euros – minus taxes). Nominations including at least a CV and a presentation letter should be addressed to gefam@rseq.org before July 30, 2022 (self-nominations are accepted).

In addition, other awards are given annually to young researchers which are members of GEFAM. In particular:

  • AWARD TO THE BEST ARTICLE

Please check gefam.org for more details. These prizes include an invited Talk in the Annual Conference of Young Researchers in Atomic and Molecular Physics(J2IFAM). The 2022 J2IFAM Conference was organized in Santiago de Compostela and the 2023 edition will be in Madrid.
